I found our organization, but the information is all incorrect. How do I get the information updated?

Mr. Gaudio – A few thoughts for you.
** Thank you for providing the organization’s EIN. It is the fastest way to precise charity research.
** We looked at the information provided by the IRS for that EIN — both to and as shown on the NCCS website.
** The information and are presenting for EIN 27-0663334 is the latest available from the IRS database.
** The information reflects a 2011 Form 990-EZ filed with the IRS on March 5, 2012. Here’s a link to that return on the NCCS site:
** Perhaps the organization has filed a return more recently, but the return has not yet been made publicly available by the IRS.
** If that’s the case, once the new return data is made publicly available by the IRS, we will update our databases. I assume NCCS will do so also.
** It that’s not the issue, let us know and we’ll investigate further.
I hope you find this helpful. Ed (aka Serious)

I have the same issue. We have a Silver Seal with Guidestar, but SGO says it has no information on us. Everything is either omitted or incorrect.

      Ms. Kaufman —
      A few thoughts for you,
** Thanks for providing the EIN — the quickest way to do charity research.
** We found the organization, IEEE FOUNDATION INC, both at and at SGO.
** The information shown is the latest published by the IRS. It reflects info the organization filed through December 2011.
** If there is information shown that is incorrect, please let us know specifically.
** As to information being omitted, we continue to enter information — but don’t have the resources to do everything at once. See Data Entry Status at the top of the organization’s SGO Report — the organization has most of its Phase 2 information entered.
I hope you find this helpful. — Ed (aka Serious)

      Hi Nancy,
A couple of thoughts for you.
** For the donor, there’s no charitable deduction for donating to an individual.
** That said, you may be able to get an Employer Identification Number (EIN) for the “trust” for the van at the IRS site. Google Employer Identification Number IRS.
      Hoping this helps,
